Jeanmarie has been a member of the Grievance Committee for the Tenth Judicial District since 2016. On November 19, 2019, she was reappointed for an additional three year term.
For many years, Jeanmarie has been a member of the Town of Riverhead, Board of Ethics, to which she has been consistently reappointed by the Riverhead Town Board.
In 2015 and 2016, , Jeanmarie was a member of the Judicial Screening Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association.
Jeanmarie has been named “Pro Bono Attorney of the Month” three times by the Suffolk County Bar Association for her valued contributions in providing legal services to indigent clients and for her numerous volunteer experiences as a Small Claims Arbitrator and a Moot Court judge.
She is an active member of the Suffolk County Bar Association (Family Law and Trust & Estates Sections), the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association, and the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association as well as the New York State Bar Association.
Active in her local community throughout her life, Jeanmarie served on the board of the Riverhead-based nonprofit Aid to Developmentally Disabled, where she was a past-president. She is the Treasurer of the Riverhead Community Awareness Program (CAP), and a past president and trustee of the Riverhead Free Library. Jeanmarie also served on the school board of St. Isidore’s and St. John the Evangelist schools.
